St Augustine of Canterbury is a Roman Catholic Voluntary Aided Primary School catering for boys and girls between the ages of 4 - 11 years.
The School is situated in its own grounds adjacent to St Augustine of Canterbury RC Church. Although the School exists primarily and essentially for children of practising Catholics, it is recognised that God shows his truths in a variety of ways. Therefore differences in faith and cultural backgrounds found within the School are valued and indeed provide a rich source of learning material at many levels as part of cultivating a friendly, Christian ethos.
The School promotes a sharing of responsibility by the home, the Church and the School, in guiding the children towards maturity.
